Normand Brière oversees the institutional and mortgage investment portfolio at Desjardins Asset Management. As part of his duties, he supervises three commercial mortgage investment teams located across Canada.

Mr. Brière was Senior Manager, Commercial Mortgages at RBC Royal Bank from 1989 to 2002, before joining Desjardins Asset Management in 2002 as Assistant Vice-President, Credit Risk Management. He has held the position of Vice-President, Mortgage Investments and Institutional Financing, since 2005.

Normand Brière holds a chartered appraiser designation (C.App.) in 1982, and earned his bachelor's degree in business administration in 1980.

Jacques Aubry supervises our commercial and institutional mortgage investments for Eastern Canada.

Before joining Desjardins Group in 1989, Mr. Aubry held a number of positions in business lending and corporate banking at Bank of Montreal. He was appointed to various responsibilities at Caisse centrale Desjardins, including Vice-President, Financing and Banking Services. Mr. Aubry became Regional Vice-President, Mortgage Investments and Institutional Financing, Eastern Canada at Desjardins Asset Management in May 1995.

Jacques Aubry has a bachelor's degree in business administration from HEC Montréal.

Iain Pollock supervises our commercial mortgage investments for Central Canada and Western Canada.

Before joining Desjardins Asset Management in 1989, Mr. Pollock held positions of increasing responsibility in Vancouver and Toronto at several major Canadian financial institutions. From 1989 to 1992, he was Assistant Vice-President, Corporate Lending, at the Toronto office. In early 2010, Iain was promoted to the position of Regional Vice-President, Mortgage Investments and Institutional Financing, Western and Central Canada.

Iain Pollock has a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
