Investment Strategies and Asset Allocation

The mission of the Investment Strategies and Asset Allocation team is to set overall asset allocation targets and to develop and administer systematic portfolio management protocols for Desjardins Asset Management's business partners.

Protocol development and management are supported by a sound investment philosophy. They are based on assembly and risk management processes for portfolios with a high probability of outperforming indexed and active investing in the medium term (3 to 5 years), particularly if several protocols are combined.

Bringing together individuals specializing in economics, statistics and advanced quantitative methods, the Investment Strategies and Asset Allocation team draws on each of these related fields to create systematic protocols. We believe that this is the most effective approach to building portfolios for our partners.
